Activity Based Learning
The Active Reading Center uses The Reading Revolution™ reading and spelling methodology that integrates phonics and literature.
Our activity-based teaching builds progressive reading and spelling skills that develop the student’s self-confidence through a series of manageable challenges.
Physical, multi-sensory activities, such as reading races, interactive games, treasure hunts, and songs develop all reading skills for our students.
Lessons are individualized; students begin with a strong foundation of initial reading skills and progress at their own rate. Students quickly see improvement and continue with excitement as they become master readers.
We love to teach reading! Our staff is fully trained, experienced, and dedicated to teaching with the Reading Revolution™ methodology.
Our joy is to bring reading to each struggling reader so they may succeed in learning and life. Each student is paired with a trained Reading Revolution™ teacher for a series of 50-minute, one-on-one, highly interactive reading lessons.
